The Seventh Steering Committee Conference of Sino-French Cooperation on Emerging Infectious Diseases Held in Wuhan
On October 30th, the Seventh Steering Committee Conference of Sino-French Cooperation on Emerging Infectious Diseases, sponsored by Ministry of Health of the PRC, organized by Wuhan Institute of Virology, China Academy of Science, was held in Wuhan. Minister of Health, Chen Zhu, Chairman of French Fondation Mérieux, Alain Mérieux, President of French Academy of Medicine André Parodi, Deputy Secretary General of Hubei Provincial People’s Government, Huang Guoxiong attended the meeting. The two parties carried out in-depth discussion on cooperation in prevention and fighting of emerging infectious diseases and reached many follow-up cooperation agreements.
